[转帖]New Steam-based Project

We're working on a new Steam-Based project for the whole community of CS players

The guys involved are:

H3llBoss - (the project is based on his steam-down)
SirArthur - in charge of the server browser
and hopefully hCUPa

The basic parts of our project is:

- create a daemon that acts like a master-server for steam-down
- figure out a crack to allow both legit users and non-legit users to play on the same cracked servers
- figure out a good name for this Razz

Our roadmap for the moment is as it follows:

- Understand how the master-server talks to clients (the steam protocol) [done]
- make a working test daemon at least in windows [done]
- make a working test daemon in linux [seeking hCUPa's help]
- figure out a way to "mirror" daemons [waiting for test linux daemon]


这段话比较有趣，所有的daemon目前都是linux的，还没有win32的，至少hCUPa在搞Linux的。
这个Daemon就像一个外挂，负责与MasterServer的通讯，负责找到CrackServer。
