Please note:
CS 1.5 and other mods based on non-steam Half-Life engine are NOT SUPPORTED ANYMORE.
This means there are no bug fixes for them and all bug reports about them are ignored. Also, in future versions C-D won't even load with old HL anymore!.

KNOWN BUGS FOR 4.27.1
CLIENT (4.27.1):
Invalid model with Trenches. Trences is not officially supported by C-D and therefore its suggested that you do not run C-D with it.
HLAmp Reborn false code.
C-D does not always start-up propely on Windows 95/98/SE and with low-end (<1Ghz) machines. Just try restarting game until C-D gets loaded. Since 4.20.0 C-D will warn user if it has failed to load propely.
WORKAROUND: Use C-D to launch HL instead of having C-D to wait for HL to load (make shortcut with C:\Program Files\Cheating-Death\cdeath.exe C:\YourHalfLifeDir\hl.exe and use it to launch HL, or use 3rd party launcher). You can also try turning on "use highest priority level" in the CD options.
FIX: Fixed for Steam in BETA. (new loader, no ETA yet).
Running C-D client under WINE/LINUX doesn't work. Server works of course. WORKAROUND: none, there are some tweaks that can be tried, but generally Wine support in current C-D is trashed. Sorry. Will try fixing if I ever have time for it.
Hacked (non-steam) versions of CS 1.6 are not supported!
Crashes with first shot or after playing some time with A3D (vortex) based cards.
Well, I'll see if there is something I can do... but no promises, A3D cards are "dying" branch...

他妈的，如果C-D真的不再修改“Hacked (non-steam) versions of CS 1.6 are not supported!”的话，那么，估计中国的CS玩家有90%会选择离开；有99.9%的网吧被迫放弃CS!!!

非常赞同您的观点，但是我一直认为CS不是靠自己单独一人就可以玩的！

您自觉，我自觉，他自觉。

如果真是这样，C-D都没有存在的理由了。

如果您经常在没有C-D的服务器上混战的话，恐怕就不会有这样高的觉悟了！

并不是说破解版本的不支持了，而是说非steam版本的HL游戏引擎的游戏不再支持而已，
就像CS1.5，它就是一个非steam引擎的游戏。
不要吓唬老百姓啊。
而且现在你如果用C-D的update直接升级的话，它会下载一个C-D，但是下载完说
会提示你RSA的签名不对，自动把它删掉了，说明UA已经发现这个BUG了，正在修正它。
大家还是耐心等待吧，不要瞎猜了。

这是很古老的问题了。早就不支持CS1.5和mod模式了。

它指的non-steam是什么？就是大家手上的所谓gcf剥离版本。
这些剥离版本，都用修改的cstrike.exe来引导程序。

为了正常使用，大家还是用gcf自己的hl.exe吧。 :43:

补充一下，大家的steam.dll是否合法？ :30:
