一些CD 4.25.0.0的错误
大家如果有如下错误。可以参考下。The Steam forums are online for me. And make sure you DONT have DMZ set up. This is a "copy and paste" from the link I gave.
If you get any of these errors when connecting to Servers:
* Bad Parse in Client Command
* Bad Command Character in Client Mod
* Bad Command Character in Client Command
* CMD_MAXBACKUP HIT
* Host_Error: CL_ParseServerMessage: Illegible server message - svc_bad
* Host_Error: CL_Parse_Version: Server is protocol -######### instead of 47
* Host_Error: DispatchUserMsg: User Msg CZCareer/130 sent too much data (195 bytes), 192 bytes max
* svc_bad Wrote erroneous message to buffer.dat Host_Error:
* UserMsg: Not Present on Client ###
* Memory Could Not Be Read Error (one cause of this)
* Host error: Cl_Entitynum: #### is an invalid number, Cl_max edicts is ####
* Host error: Bad server message
* Host_Error: CL_ParseServerMessage: Illegible server message - svc_bad
and the most typical symptom is:
Whenever I connect to a (Counter-Strike) server, I get booted after 30 seconds
The #1 cause is the firmware in your router.
Quick Verification Test:
If you have a stand-alone router (not built into your modem that is) then completely bypass your router and plug directly into your modem and see if you have the disconnect problem then.
Linksys Routers
Linksys BEFSR11, 41 and 81 routers seem to be causing this a great deal with the latest firmware version available from their website.
If you have the BEFSR11 or 41 router, you need to run the 1.45.7 firmware to solve this problem.
The current firmware version that Linksys has on their website: (1.45.11) and some older versions (before 1.45.7) of the firmware can cause these same problems.
You can download the known good Linksys 1.45.7 firmware for both the BEFSR11 and BEFSR41 V2 routers at »ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/befsr41/befsr_fw_1..

Disable QoS and uPnP
You also need to go into the router and disable UPnP and QoS if it's there and you should ONLY have TCP/IP checked in the network properties for your Internet connection.
Disable Wireless Zero Service
Everyone should also disable this useless and problematic service which is part of XP.
Bad ActionTec Products
ActionTec DSL Modems, which have no firmware update available also have this problem and the modem itself needs to be replaced.

Other Good Routers
If you have a router and HAVE NO PROBLEMS and you know the model and firmware version that you currently have, I would appreciate a PM with the following information:
Manufacturer,
Model Number
Firmware Version
so I can make a list of KNOWN GOOD units.
Potentially BAD Routers
If you HAVE SEEN any of these errors on a persistent basis and you do NOT have the models listed here then please PM me with the same information so I can build a KNOWN BAD list.
If you have a Router listed as BAD but it works for you
If you have one of the units listed as BAD but it works for you, please also PM the information to me, you might have a different firmware version.
NOTE:
If the server you are attached to has one of the BAD routers you may also see this symptom, but it isn't you it's the Server. The way to know is if most servers give you this error then it is your router. If only ONE server gives you this error this it is likely a problem with the Server.

Because there isn't a specific thread for Router Information, I'm going to start adding info at the bottom here and then I'll split it off later.

ADSL Chipset Vendor: Alcatel, Version 3.8.164
Known Other BAD Routers and Firmware:
(Creative Labs)
BroadXent 8120 modem (5.0.0.16 17 November 2003)
Has a table limit where you won't be able to refresh the entire list of servers in the server browser.
At ~ 8000 servers the router will go OFFLINE and reboot. Reducing your Steam connection rate might help this problem.
Creative Labs has been notified of this problem.

How to Disable Unnecessary Services in WinXP
Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
Click on "standard"
then sort by name (click on the name title bar so Alerter is at the top)
Then one by one, take the items I told you to disable, and if they are running then stop them, then right-click > properties (for each one in turn) and set them to "disabled".
One of the services doesn't like to be stopped, the "media serial number" so after stopping it, wait a bit and then hit cancel, it will stop, then go and disable it.
When you are all done, exit from the administrative tools and reboot your system.
