* Added the ability for Booster to ping an external machine and record the value. This can help admins diagnose latency problems. Value is stored in booster_extping. IP address to ping is stored in booster_pingaddr.
* Added a cvar to hold average player ping. Value is stored in booster_intping.
* Added 'booster_status' console command, which reports on CPU, entities used, FPS and pings.
* Re-introduced the 686/p4 optimized build.


* Fixed a bug in stats collection where cpu was being reported correctly (only affected statsdat.dat creation).

谁能说说这个booster在什么情况下有boost作用?
建服务器三年多了,没觉得这玩意儿真加了什么速了,除了在顶部有个xxx fps看着比较舒服以外。

在我的服务器里,玩家的PING值降低15左右。

我用公司的光纤网络连到服务器时的PING值只有1、2左右!!,如果不用booster,这时PING值会变成十几,所以效果是比较明显的。

viva讲一下Booster_mm.dll和Booster_686_mm.dll哪个是用在amd上,哪个用在inter P4上的啊。。

我想是前者是P4的,对不?
